Honest about Bluetooth
Bluetooth works great when your phone's in the same room — that covers most nightstand use. If you want Alexa, schedules, or control from outside the home, you'll need our optional WiFi hub (sold separately, coming soon). Most people don't need it. We mention this up front because the only thing worse than a smart gadget that doesn't work is finding out after you bought it.

FAQ
Does this work on all light switches?
It works on standard rocker and toggle switches in the US (rocker adapter is included). Dimmer-only switches need a different fix — message us before you order and we'll tell you straight if it'll work for your setup.
Do I need WiFi?
No, not for the basic use case. Bluetooth-only handles flipping your switch from across the room. WiFi hub is optional if you want remote access from outside the home or voice control via Alexa/Google.
Will it leave a mark on my wall?
No, if you remove it slowly. Tested on painted drywall, tile, and metal plates. Rental units welcome.
Battery life?
Rechargeable via USB-C. About 6 months per charge on typical use.
How fast does it ship?
First batch ships from US warehouses in 2–3 weeks. After that we're back to standard 3–6 business days.
What if I hate it?
30 days, no drama. Email hello@thelazy.company and we'll refund or replace. If something arrives broken, just send us a photo — no need to ship it back.
